International Jazz Day at The Square

On the occasion of the UNESCO International Jazz Day 2026 – the largest annual international celebration highlighting jazz and its cultural role of uniting people globally, Jazz Association (Singapore) pays tribute to Miles Davis, the legendary American trumpet player, and his love affair with Paris.

Led by Jeremy Monteiro and Chok Kerong, alongside acclaimed French talents Nicolas Folmer (trumpet) and Andrea Caparros (vocals), Jazz Association Singapore Orchestra (JASSO) offers an electrifying showcase of Miles Davis’ compositions.

As 2026 marks the 100th anniversary of his birth, the concert traces the remarkable musical journey of the legendary jazz icon, from his bebop collaborations with Charlie Parker and his hard bop era, to his groundbreaking works with Gil Evans and beyond.
