Synopsis
Violette, a woman in her forties, is the caretaker of a cemetery in a small Burgundy town. Her days are filled with the confidences of visitors seeking comfort and a listening ear. Then Julien Seul, a police officer scattering his mother’s ashes, arrives and becomes intrigued by Violette’s mysterious past, including her husband’s disappearance years earlier. As he investigates, buried memories resurface, forcing Violette to confront her painful past and a long-hidden truth that could finally set her free.
