VOILAH! 2025 OPENING PROGRAMME
Presented for the first time in Singapore, the exhibition is set against the unique and exceptional backdrop of the Anderson Bridge. It features a selection of photographs showcasing two rivers – the Singapore River and the Seine River – that have shaped the artist’s life, representing the duality of past and present, memory and dreams, and how we are all part of one interconnected existence.
Melisa Teo is a Singaporean photographer who regards her camera as a “third eye” which is guided by intuition to perceive a reality that eludes the naked eye. In recent years, her fascination with the relationship between man and nature has led her from shamans in the forests of Siberia to anonymous figures in the manicured gardens of Paris, her adoptive city.
