Senses & Lenses by Claire Deniau

“Senses & Lenses” by Claire Deniau comprises 12 artworks that highlight the link between art and vision, and is the result of an unprecedented collaboration with French leading manufacturer of optical lenses, ESSILOR.

The artworks are based on the transparency of mineral lenses, which, when placed in front of a painting, brings forth a new dimension due to its magnifying, distorting or narrowing effect. Viewers are treated to a visual experience as they immerse in the fusion of colours and materiality of the paintings.

Claire Deniau is a Singapore-based French artist. She graduated from Central Saint Martins, London, with a BA & MA in Fine Art. Her work is collected internationally by private collectors and prestigious institutions such as Tate, and Victoria and Albert Museum.
