INTO THE WORLD

Jeanne works as a midwife in a maternity hospital in Marseille. Every day, she and her colleagues fight to defend mothers and their babies in the face of staff shortages and constant pressure from their management. Jeanne lives with Zoé, her 18-year-old daughter whom she is raising alone. When tragedy strikes in the maternity ward and Zoé leaves to study in Paris, Jeanne’s secret past suddenly resurfaces and pushes her to assert her life choices.
