Clemence, a lawyer, leaves her marriage to embrace her true self. Her ex-husband fights for custody of their son Paul, manipulating him. As their relationship deteriorates, Clemence struggles to maintain her maternal bond.

The film, which is a direct adaptation of the 2020 autofiction novel by Constance Debré, was featured in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes 2025 where it received positive critical acclaim.
