Nest and Neighbors: Solitude and Coexistence in High-Density Cities

An Exhibition by Ceet Fouad
4, Apr 2026 3, May 2026

DESCRIPTION

Exploring the paradox of proximity in Asia’s vertical cities, French artist Ceet Fouad brings his signature “chicanos” figures into the heart of Hong Kong’s alleys, Singapore’s glass towers, Tokyo’s compact apartments, and Bangkok’s layered rooftops. These playful chicks embody anonymous urban dwellers—sharing lifts, corridors, and concrete nests, yet often turned away from one another.

Through vivid colours and gentle irony, “Nest and Neighbour” reflects on coexistence and solitude, inviting audiences to contemplate intimacy, isolation, and the fragile threads of connection within ever-rising skylines.
