ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE

A fictionalised account of an extensive three-day interview given by European actress Romy Schneider to two journalists a year before her tragic death, the film paints the portrait of a tortured star struggling to be understood as she vents her frustrations about her career and her own motherhood. But she seemed to find a sense of hope and solace in a tender relationship with one of the journalists, Lebeck.
