In war-torn times, a poor woodcutter and his wife finds and rescues a baby girl, bringing irrevocable change to their lives, and those whose paths the child will cross.

This film will be screened in conjunction with the Singapore Writers Festival 2024, where you can check out the programme ‘Picture This: Using Graphics and Comics to Convey Universal Concerns’ where sequential artists discuss and analyse the impact and potential of using graphics and comic strips as media for addressing pressing national and global concerns.
