Synopsis

It’s 1985. Vincent is almost thirteen, growing up in the Paris suburbs in a comfortable middle-class family that feels increasingly difficult to understand. His older brother barely notices him, while his parents seem to do little but argue. Caught somewhere between childhood and adulthood, Vincent is trying to make sense of a world that suddenly feels much more complicated than it used to. As he navigates friendship, family, identity, first crushes, and the awkwardness of growing up, he begins to wonder whether adults have any idea what they’re doing either. With humor, tenderness, and the uncertainty of first adolescence, Vincent takes his first steps toward becoming the person he wants to be - without quite knowing who that is yet.
