On Thursday 13 July, 43 Singaporean students who are learning French at the Ministry of Education Language Center, were hosted at the Embassy of France for an information session hosted and moderated by Mrs Emilienne Baneth-Nouailhetas, Counsellor for Culture, Education and Science.
Two alumnas joined the session:
– Ms Yujia CHEONG, currently a product owner at BeeBryte New Ways for Energy Efficiency and alumna of the double degree NUS – Centrale-Supélec engineering school, and :
– Ms. Chensiew LIM, currently APAC Procurement Manager at Johnson & Johnson, alumna of the double degree programme NUS – Ecole Polytechnique, and of INSEAD MBA programme.
After a presentation on the history of France, Bastille Day celebrations and the common paths to Higher Education in France, Yujia and Chensiew shared insights into their personal career paths, academic trajectories and their learning experience and memories in France.
The junior college students were given the opportunity to engage with the two speakers on the advantages of studying in France for their future growth and careers!
