ITE held its annual Graduation Ceremony on 21 July 2023, to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2023. A total of 14,091 students graduated from ITE in Academic Year 2022/2023. At the Ceremony, ITE recognized 17 top graduates through the following awards:
- Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal
- Tay Eng Soon Gold Medal
- The Ngee Ann Kongsi Gold Medal
- Singapore National Employers Federation Gold Medal
- Singapore Business Federation Gold Medal
- Singapore Precision Engineering & Technology Association Gold Medal
- e2i Gold Medal
- IES Engineering Award
Minister for Education, Mr Chan Chun Sing, presented these top graduate awards to the recipients.
Muhammad Cairel B Razali, a graduate of the ITE Technical Diploma in Culinary Arts course from ITE College West, was a recipient of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) Gold Medal. The SBF Gold Medal is awarded to a top graduate of the Technical Engineer Diploma/Technical Diploma Programme for outstanding course performance. Cairel was also the Valedictorian of the Class of 2023. He graduated with the ITE Nitec in Western Culinary Arts in 2016, enlisted in National Service before pursuing the ITE Technical Diploma in Culinary Arts course.
Cairel is a France Excellence Scholarship recipent by the French Embassy of Singapore for his master at Institut LYFE (formely Institut Paule Bocuse).
