MAP WINE: A new diploma in the wine sector in France

The French university Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 offers a new diploma: MAP WINE. The programme focused on the wine sector will be conducted exclusively in English and students will learn how to start projects from scratch and to manage both the artistic and cultural aspects, including the development of wine tourism.

The university Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 is specialized in Arts, Literature and Social science with more than 18% international students from 140 different countries in the world. The programme includes 225 hours of classes from both university professors and professionals from the wine industry including oenologists, anthropologists, marketing experts and web designers as well as from the cultural and tourism sector. The students will have to complete a 4 month internship in the industry to obtain the diploma so as to get an inner understanding of the sector.

The region where the university is located is the first region for the wine industry in France and the 4th most attractive region for tourism in the country.

French wine is part of French gastronomy, the country well known cultural heritage and our university is the dream spot to complete the programme.
