In January 2021, La Petite Ecole joined emerging education group Odyssey. Based in Paris, Odyssey was founded by educational specialists wanting to promote French school education around the world and to create a new educational group, combining the best of French and international education.

Odyssey Executive President Mr Luc Chatel, and Managing Director, Mrs Catherine Lespine signed on 14 June 2022 an agreement with the Alliance Française de Singapour, sealing the partnership between the two entities. Mr Chatel and Mrs Lespine, as well as Maria Lamrani Alaoui, Director at La Petite Ecole South East Asia, were warmly welcomed by Alliance Française President Mr Andrew Lau and Executive Director Mr Fabian Forni. Embassy of France in Singapore Counsellor for Culture, Education & Science Anthony Chaumuzeau was also present on this memorable occasion.

From September 2022, the CP and CE1 classes of La Petite Ecole Singapore will be hosted into the premises of Alliance Française. The students will also benefit of the wide range of services and events of the “French Hub in Singapore” including the extensive library, the multi-purpose theatre and the gallery.

Alliance Française and Odyssey are taking one step further into strengthening the French community in Singapore and at the heart of it is a common wish to foster a love for learning and a love for languages and culture in young students.
