Kabul, 15 August 2021. As US forces prepare to withdraw from Afghanistan, the Taliban seize the capital, plunging the city into turmoil. Thousands of Afghans seek refuge at the French Embassy, where Commander Mohamed Bida and his elite team are responsible for ensuring security. Trapped inside with hundreds of civilians, Bida, with the assistance of Eva, a young French-Afghan humanitarian worker, must negotiate with the Taliban to organize a convoy and attempt a last-minute evacuation. The story unfolds as a tense race against time to reach the airport and escape Kabul before it is too late.
