The Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival is the world’s largest film festival dedicated to short films. It is the essential meeting place for spectators, professionals, youngsters and school children. Each year, the festival proposes a choice of 600 films, across all sections and three competitions (national, international and Lab) for which more than 7,000 short films are submitted between March and October.
Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival has also long been known for being the stepping stone for many international directors who were able to launch their film career successfully.
The next edition will take place from 29 January to 16 February 2021 and submissions are now open!
Registration deadlines:
– 5 July 2020 for films completed in 2019 (after 1 October 2019)
– 5 October 2020 for films completed in 2020
Registration fee: free of charge
Requirements:
Maximum running time: 40 minutes
Origin: All countries (except France)
Festival screening format: DCP
