“CECI N’EST PAS UNE EXPOSITION” AT ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE

Alliance Française de Singapour and NTU Centre For Contemporary Art Singapore are delighted to present their new exhibition ‘Ceci n’est pas une exposition’, aka This is not an exhibition.

Ceci n’est pas une exhibition, but it is art, it is science, it is play, it is imagination, it is nature, it is technology, and it is, above all, an invitation, and a space to be activated by your presence and participation!

This project presents the work of Singapore-based artist and researcher Dr. Isabelle Desjeux and is simultaneously a reflection on her training as a molecular biologist, her experiences making art and building community, and a proposition for things that are yet to come.

Curated by Karin Oen and in collaboration with Debbie Ding and See Yee Quek Alliance Française invites you to think about what is possible when you look beyond what seems to be, and instead think about what could be.
