“LOST IN SINGAPORE” EXHIBITION

From 18 January to 5 March, turn your attention upon the French art scene with Alliance Française de Singapour and step into a world where art confronts reality in the exhibition by enraged and committed French postindustrial visual artist Aurèle Ricard.

In our societies, we often find ourselves caught up in infernal rhythms, making us a machine of endless production, losing our identity and past. But in a hopeful light, we all seek out one another and learn how to live for each other.

“Lost in Singapore” features a dog sitting in the midst of an ultra-modern architecture as a symbol of life and the contribution of Aurèle Ricard to tomorrow’s world. Filled with hope, that the action again with become sister to dream and liberate the possibilities of new lives in each of us.

Alliance Française is showcasing 20 pieces by Aurèle Ricard in the gallery from 18 January to 5 March as part of Singapore Art Week 2022.

Dates: 18 January to 5 March 2022
