As part of Alliance Française’s new exhibition theme on Oceans, Ocean Commotion presents a refined blend of storytelling and live music, designed to engage audiences through narrative and sound.
Led by award-winning storyteller Roger Jenkins, with theatre artist Justine Devisse Mezrani and two musicians from Our Music School, the performance explores maritime folklore through an interactive and family-friendly format.
Three ocean-themed stories are featured: the Japanese folktales The Little Crab and Urashima Taro, as well as Surf War, an interactive story from the Marshall Islands. The programme highlights values such as empathy, respect, and the power of community, offering a culturally rich experience suitable for a wide audience.
