Next edition of International Animation Challenge to be held in France

The International Animation Challenge was launched in 2017 by Nanyang Polytechnic school of Interactive and Digital Media. This event, which gathers animation students from all over the globe, aims to support international exchange and collaboration around a common project.

This year, 40 students from 6 countries had to create 20 seconds of animation on the theme “Connect”. Each team had only 10 days to achieve their video which were used for a chained edited animation film. (See the result here !) The event was sponsored by TVPaint, Wacom-Peripheral Solutions, The Walt Disney Company, Adobe, and Animagine Pte. Ltd. The 3 winning teams were awarded with a $8,000 total value price.

In 2019, the International Animation Challenge will take place in France, hosted by Rubika-Supinfocom School (Valenciennes)

We cannot wait to see the new talents and the result of their work !
