NUS webinar on COVID-19 with Dr Marie-Paule Kieny, Inserm

Dr Marie-Paule Kieny, Director of the Priority Research Programme on Antimicrobial Resistance at Inserm, will give a talk on Thursday 18 June 2020 at 7pm (GMT + 8).

Winner of the Inserm International Prize 2017, she has spent most of her career at the World Health Organization (WHO). This virology specialist became a public health policy strategist there.

Marie-Paule Kieny is one on the panel of international experts invited by the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, the National University Health System, and the World Health Organization’s Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network to give updates and insights into the current developments and the social, geo-political and economic impacts of the virus.

Anchored by Dr David Allen, a Visiting Senior Fellow at NUS Medicine, and Professor Dale Fisher, Chair of the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN), this weekly webinar “COVID-19: Updates from Singapore’”, started on 9 April 2020 and will run until 2 July 2020.
