Singapore-France Webinar: Reopening After Lockdown

Sin Fra Webinar 2020

Covid-19 is an unprecedented health crisis that sent many countries scrambling into months-long lockdown to contain its spread, including Singapore and France. The ramifications of this disease go beyond the obvious health impact to also encompass the financial and economic fallout. Just how far reaching are the consequences of Covid-19 really?

Singapore and France have recently emerged from a lockdown/Circuit Breaker and now enter a cautious phase where limited economic activity restarts. Experts give a country-specific view on how Singapore and France handled the crisis and discuss what the balance between economic and health strategies should be, with perspectives on the economic and sociocultural factors that play a role.
