The Merlion Programme (Hubert Curien Partnership), managed by the Institut Français of Singapour, initiate and foster the development of scientific collaborations between French and Singaporean laboratories.
It finance different kinds of operations :
- Short term missions for researchers, postdoctorals and PhD students,
- Seminars or Workshop in France or Singapore on a common thematic,
- Several months stays for PhD students in Singapore who wish to make a part of their thesis in France.

ANR – NRF Programme
The National Research Foundation (NRF) and the Research National Agency (ANR) signed an agreement in 2014 to deepen the scientific cooperation between France and Singapore.
This agreement set up a bilateral programme to finance commun research projects. The researchers teams have the possibility to apply for the call offer which will finance chosen research projects for 3 years, up to 500 000 €/project.
