As part as their latest “French Excellence” programme about Notre-Dame de Paris, Alliance Française de Singapour invites you in their theatre, to join the firefighters during their battle on the night of the fire in 2019, as well as to better understand the know-hows involved in its restoration.
First, discover an immense documentary looking back at that fateful night of 2019 where the cathedral got partially destroyed. “Notre-Dame de Paris” by Jules and Gedeon Naudet is paying tribute to the people who heroically saved the church!
Then, “Compagnons” by François Favrat is a feel good movie on the craft guild Les Compagnons du Devoir: Naëlle will carve a place for herself in the fascinating world of stained glass and will realize that the Companions’ values are not just empty words.
