Second Edition of EU at your School at CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School

On 14 May 2021, Ms Anne Denis-Blanchardon, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of France in Singapore, conducted an interaction session at CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School with the students, enlightening the students on the European Union (EU), French culture, France relation to Singapore as well as providing useful information on higher education possibilities in France. She conducted an online Zoom session addressing the all students in the school and a smaller presentation was conducted thereafter with around 15 students from the age 13 to 16 years old.

Students aged 13 to 20 from 27 Singapore education institutions are meeting with EU representatives in the second edition of the ‘EU at Your School’ programme (#EUatYourSchool), where they are learning more about the EU and its relations with Singapore and the region. The programme, which runs from 31 March to 28 May 2021, builds on positive feedback from the inaugural edition in 2019.

A session was conducted by HE Mr Marc Abensour, Ambassador of France to Singapore, last month at Hwa Chong Institution, along with his German counterpart, HE Mr Norbert Riedel.
