Following an inaugural France-Singapore Legal Symposium in January 2020, this first webinar on Civil Law and Asian Cross-Border Transactions will be held on 25 August 2020. Co-organized by University Paris II Panthéon-Assas and Singapore Academy of Law, it cover the similarities and differences between the contract law of the common law and the civil law traditions to give participants the knowledge and practice of civil law in cross-border transactions in Asia. Leading academics and practitioners from France and Singapore will present at the webinar.
