This exuberantly entertaining show will transport you back in time to 1930s Berlin, where life is beautiful but dark forces are on the rise.

Directed by Hossan Leong and choreographed by Lisa Keegan, “CABARET” features a highly skilled ensemble of 18 performers, complemented by an eight-piece live band delivering melodies. The production boasts extravagant costumes and a grandiose set that transports audiences to the alluring Kit Kat Klub. Within this decadent world, the flamboyant yet enigmatic Emcee, portrayed by Dwayne Lau, presides over nightly entertainment.

The story unfolds with the arrival of American writer Cliff Bradshaw, played by Vester Ng, in Berlin, where he falls in love with the English singer Sally Bowles, portrayed by Kimberly Chan, leading to a surreal romance. However, as the shadow of Nazism looms over the city, Berlin’s atmosphere takes a sinister turn, emphasizing the timeliness of “CABARET” as a poignant reminder of the perils of fascism and the imperative of defending freedom and human rights.

With music composed by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and a script by Joe Masteroff based on Christopher Isherwood’s novel “Goodbye to Berlin,” “CABARET” is a mesmerizing, dance-driven musical that will leave audiences breathless and profoundly moved.
