PART OF THE SERIES SPOTLIGHTING THE INFLUENCE OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN FRANCE ON CAREER PATH
The Embassy of France in Singapore with French Alumni Singapore present the “France Alumni Singapore Lecture Series” given by eminent personalities in Singapore who studied in France, to put the spotlight on how an overseas education, notably in France, influenced their chosen career path.
The speaker, Kelvin Tan, is the founder & CEO of Origin Capital Management – a specialist venture capital fund manager headquartered in Singapore, investing into the future of trade and financial services. Previously, he held leadership roles at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group), and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Kelvin was awarded a Public Service Commission Scholarship to read architecture in Paris, at the Ecole spéciale d’architecture; and has a Masters in real estate investments from the Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, under the Eiffel scholarship programme from the French Government. He is passionate about innovation and enjoys a good conversation over a glass of wine from the Pomerol chateaus in Bordeaux, France.
The lecture will be moderated by Vigneswaran Sellakannu, Strategy and Development Manager at TotalEnergies and hosted by Sylvie Kwok, Senior Member of Technical Staff at DSO National Laboratories.
