BRINGING TOGETHER LEARNERS OF FRENCH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE AROUND DEBATES ON CURRENT FRANCOPHONE NEWS
Organised since 2016 by the Association des Professeurs de Français de Singapour (APFS), the Joutes Oratoires has become a key annual event for a large number of young learners of French in Singapore.
The topics of the debates are always related to current affairs in French-speaking countries to invite learners to take an interest and do research to inform the debates in French.
Open to both B1/B2 level students (French as a Foreign Language category) and native speakers (Mother Tongue category), more than 10 high schools and universities are participating every year.
