A GIANT INTERACTIVE FRESCO BY ELLY OLDMAN
Stuck in bed after an accident, Elly Oldman decided to start in 2017 an adventure on Instagram that would be infinite. In a graphic style of her own, she deploys all her creativity and her overflowing imagination in an infinite drawing. 200 publications, 14 meters of drawing and 18,000 followers later, she imagined with Electroni[k] the creation of an interactive, giant and evolving fresco, to be discovered in drawings but also in augmented reality!
Elly Oldman tells us a wacky and incredible fable, against a background of ecological and environmental consideration. Accompanied and produced by Electroni[k], in co-production with Le Cube, Centre de creation numérique, Stereolux and with the support of Artefacto.
The fresco has made its way to Singapore, displayed on a wall in Geylang Bahru as part of the National Arts Council’s Arts in Your Neighbourhood initiative (artsforall.gov.sg/AYN).
Bring the wall mural to life thanks to an augmented reality activity with additional animated illustrations by Singaporean artist Marina A! In order to enjoy the augmented reality download the app for Android and iOS.
